My kids are funny

I hate to brag but I have some really fun kids. I heard some squeals and giggles coming from the kitchen and I came into Stella totally entertaining Addis. I couldn't get to my camera fast enough. I have the best two little buddies!

He has legs...

...and he knows how to use them!
Only six short weeks ago, our little man had legs like wet noodles. He truly didn't know he had legs at all. We would try to hold him up and he would go limp. He is doing so well. I also love in this video how sweet Stella says "whoa Addis!" She is his biggest cheerleader.

Mother's Day

I feel like I have been a mom for a long time so it's funny that this is only my second Mother's Day to celebrate with children. My two Mother's Days have been amazing, both of which we were able to dedicate a child to the Lord. Last year it was Miss Stella who was dedicated, this year, Mr. Addis. What a privilege it is to raise these two babies and teach them about the Lord. Who knows, maybe we will dedicate a new child every Mother's day. Today, I'm too tired to think of such a thing!

Road Trip to North Carolina

My little sister was having a baby shower this past weekend in North Carolina and there was no way I was going to miss it. Granted, with our new addition, life is seriously crazy, but since when has that stopped me from a road trip. My mom and I packed about sixteen bags, threw the kids in the car and headed out.

Overall, it was a fun trip. I confess I had a couple of melt downs. It is no easy task keeping two babies happy in a hotel room not to mention the sleep deprivation.

On the up side, we did have an indoor pool which was fun. Addis loved the water! I didn't get any pictures with the family but it was great to all be together.
